What is the winecountry lifestyle?

Our winemaking ambition is to create wines that delight the palate and enhance the enjoyment of life. Our style is internationally influenced in its subtlety but identifiably Californian in its casual sophistication and these are the two key elements in what we affectionately call the wine country lifestyle. As native Northern Californians and travel enthusiasts we have fallen in love with the unique blend of rustic charm, authentic character, traditional celebrations, and historical perspective that typify the best winemaking towns of the world. The essence of Beaune, San Luis Obispo, Navarro, Dijon, St. Helena, Montalcino, St. Emilion, Sancerre, Orange, Chateau-neuf du Pape, Sonoma, and of course Healdsburg is our inspiration and we are attempting to bottle that authentic character and bring it to your table. This lifestyle hinges upon the simple enjoyment of life that is derived from strolling a traditional downtown square, cycling to Saturday morning farmers market, foraging for wild mushrooms in the rainy season, participating in or watching the annual town parade, dining al fresco while listening to local musicians playing a concert in the park, and living daily with the heritage of an agriculture-based community where our spirits and livelihoods are still tied to the earth and the seasons.
