| Our wines are a reflection of the earth on which they were grown. To our minds boutique wines should always convey a sense of place so we work with small, family-owned vineyards that typify the relationship between appellation and varietal. We have found that small vineyards allow for even ripening and consistency in flavor and character. Our minimalist winemaking technique employs a harmony of traditional and modern winemaking practices including whole-berry fermentation, hand punch-downs, gentle pressing, minimal blending, ageing in finely coopered barrels, and minimal filtration. We believe that these all contribute to the elegance of our wines and help to preserve the distinctiveness of each vintage. |
